CruiseNReview is officially two years old. What started as a travel blog to allow me to blow off some steam has turned into a full service travel agency helping plan memory-making vacations for clients around the world.
We still love providing great travel content and blogs for you, but we also love sending you on your own adventures.
As we embark on our third full year as a travel agency, I think it's important for us to define who we are as a business. We've learned lessons along this short journey that have shaped how we serve our clients and even the types of travel we want to book.
First and foremost, CruiseNReview doesn't just book cruises. We can book travel anywhere in the world. Hotels, all-inclusive resorts, Disney, flights, cruises, and more. While we definitely specialize in cruises, we are also certified experts in many other areas of travel and love planning custom land vacations as well.
On to the essential question...who are we as an agency?
Audrey and I have learned that we just don't do well offering the cheapest possible vacation with the cheapest possible vendors. Don't get me wrong, we love finding great deals for our clients and pride ourselves in finding the lowest prices on whatever type of trip we are booking. That being said, there are just some vendors that don't meet our standards of service and therefore, we've decided not to book those kinds of travel.
Our specialty is listening to what you value as a traveler and what your dream vacation looks like and making it a reality. We work well with clients that enjoy a seamless, well organized, and well planned experience.
If you're looking for quality, fun, adventure, pure relaxation, and amentities, we are your crew. You don't have to know what you're doing, that's what we are here for, we just want you to understand that not every trip fits every traveler and that's why we make the recommendations we make.
For example, we made the decision late last year that we were no longer going to book Carnival cruises. I know there are many Carnival loyalists out there, but we simply couldn't stand behind their service and consistency and that wasn't the types of trips we wanted to book. We also won't book our clients on Spirit or Frontier airlines for the same reasons.
When you travel with us, we are going to try our best to put you in the best possible place to have the best possible time. We pick flights based off of convenience, ease, and reliability and not necessarily on price. We favor direct flights over connections, longer connections over short ones, and better airlines over cut rate. All of this is in effort to provide a hassle-free vacation to our clients.
We've made the decision that anyone can get on the internet and book the cheapest trip possible. They can also have a terrible experience because they cut corners and didn't pay attention to whether that trip fit what they were looking for. Our assumption is that if you've approached us about a trip, you want an expertly planned trip, with expert advice, and less hassle than if you went out on your own.
Again, it's okay if you have no idea what you are doing. We do. All we ask for is answers to our questions, a budget, and trust.
We can be pushy sometimes, but it's because we love you!
I once had a client say this to me after a successful vacation: "Ya'll were really pushy but you pushed me into booking the perfect trip." This was a little bit of a back-handed compliment but I don't think there was a better thing that could be said about CruiseNReview Travel Advisors. We will push you. We want you to explore all the options available to you and to make the best decisions about your travel within your given budget. This particular client started off wanting to take a cruise that didn't fit their traveler profile at all. Instead, we pushed them to take a different trip all together to somewhere we knew they would love and enjoy with a full package aimed at the things they valued, still within their chosen budget. We were pushy, they may not have loved that the whole time but in the end, they had the trip of a lifetime and that's all that matters to us in the end.
Quality is what we offer. We want to give you something you can't get by booking your own trip on the internet. We strive to add value to your trip, add fun and excitement to the planning process, and be there with you to alleviate any concerns or stresses throughout so you can get into the vacation mindset and simply enjoy your vacation.
We plan your trip with passion and enthusiasm as if we were planning our own vacation. We love exploring, we love adventure, and we love seeing the world. You'll get those vibes from us throughout the process.
Sorry for the long monologue, but I'm passionate about travel and believe it is essential to a happy, fulfilled, and well-rounded life.
