Sight & Sound announced this week that it will be bringing a new Bible-themed musical to the stage of Sight & Sound Branson.

Debuting in 2025, "David" will tell the story of one of the Bible's most legendary people. According to the companies website, the show will tell the story of David's ascent to the thrown that is filled with "towering giants, wild animals, and Philistine soldiers."

"After unprecedented victories lead to devasting failures, this passionate warrior will face the biggest battle of all: the one within himself," said the Sight & Sound promotion of the show.

The theatre company has two venues: one in Branson and one Lancaster, PA. Shows rotate every couple of seasons and typically rotate from one theatre to the other. The 2023 and 2024 seasons in Branson have featured the show "Queen Esther". During the 2024 Christmas season, the show will be the "Miracle of Christmas".

Sight and Sound productions are known for elaborate stage design, live animals, great acting and singing, and biblical stories brought to life.

Tickets for "David" go on sale May 1, 2024. Tickets for "Queen Esther" and "Miracle of Christmas" are on sale now.
